ALUN FRANCIS is since 2003 Chief Conductor of the Thuringain Philharmonic and permanent guest conductor of the Zagreb Philharmonic Orchestra. He has conducted most of the major orchestras in Great Britain - all of the BBC Orchestras, the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, the Scottish National Orchestra, the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra, and the Halle Orchestra. His recordings with the London Symphony Orchestra, the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, the Philharmonia, the English Chamber Orchestra and London Mozart Players have won much critical acclaim, including the LONDON SUNDAY TIMES.
